Rebecca Geraghty AIA, NCARB

As a leader within the firm, Ms. Geraghty brings to B&D decades of experience as a licensed architect, construction manager, builder, business owner, expert witness, and educator. She consistently applies her knowledge of stewarding the full life cycle of a project, proactively mitigating risks, managing and leveraging critical relationships, and inherently understanding educational, financial, and cultural priorities to ensure a university’s outcomes are comprehensively achieved.  Ms. Geraghty has managed billions of dollars of planning, design, and construction activities across multiple client and asset types nationally.

Prior to her position with B&D, Ms. Geraghty grew her career through project management roles in the justice, commercial, religious, academic, and industrial sectors. She also operated an independent architecture and interior design firm, served as an assistant professor of Interior Design at SUNY College at Buffalo, and has held the positions of director of design, general contractor qualifier, and a CMa project executive within the architecture and construction market. Beyond her role at B&D, Ms. Geraghty is occasionally called upon by the legal community to serve as an expert witness for design and construction claims throughout the Southeast.
