After successfully opening the university’s Capstone Apartments public-private partnership (P3) in 2022, development advisory firm Brailsford & Dunlavey is working with Lynn University in Boca Raton, FL on its second residence hall project to be delivered through a P3 in three years.
The residence hall, whose groundbreaking ceremony was held in late June, will add 287 beds to Lynn’s campus in suite-style housing. The project is being developed by The Michaels Organization, and is scheduled to open in fall 2025. The university also included an existing building, the Mary and Harold Perper Residence Hall, so a total of 457 beds are included in the deal structure. Ayers Saint Gross is the architect and Kaufman Lynn is the general contractor.
Lynn’s previous P3 residence hall project, Capstone Apartments, opened in fall 2022. All of the university’s P3 housing, now totaling 798 beds, will be managed by Michaels Student Living.
