WASHINGTON, D.C., June 23, 2026—Following its acquisition of Project Management Advisors (PMA) in December 2025, Brailsford & Dunlavey (B&D) has achieved its highest-ever ranking on the ENR Top 50 Program Management Firms list, rising to No. 22 nationally. The ranking marks B&D’s 12th consecutive year appearing among the nation’s leading program management firms.
Published annually by Engineering News-Record, the Top Program Management Firms ranking is one of the industry’s most respected benchmarks, measuring firms based on program management revenue and recognizing organizations that deliver complex capital programs across the country. This year’s ranking represents B&D’s highest placement since first appearing on the list in 2015 and continues a steady upward trajectory that has spanned more than a decade.
B&D’s growth trajectory has been highlighted by continued success and expanding market share across the core industries served by the firm, including higher education, healthcare, life sciences, technology, K-12 schools, civic and municipal projects, sports venues, hospitality, residential, and innovative solutions for energy infrastructure challenges. This momentum was accelerated by a strategic private investment from Bernhard Capital Partners (BCP) in 2024 that positioned B&D as the anchor of BCP’s Institutional Project Management platform.
The firm’s further growth was fueled by its acquisition of Project Management Advisors (PMA) in December 2025, which significantly expanded B&D’s national footprint, sector expertise, and multidisciplinary advisory capabilities. This was the first of what is expected to be a very robust period of mergers and acquisitions activity for the firm.
“Achieving our highest-ever ranking on the ENR list is gratifying because it reflects three decades of steady growth and execution,” said B&D Chairman Paul Brailsford. “The PMA acquisition was transformative, as the combined organization provides a significantly strengthened foundation upon which we will continue to add capabilities that make us more valuable to our clients. As we further scale, our platform will address the needs of clients across a broader range of industries critical to our nation’s economy, through capabilities relevant to the project lifecycle and beyond.”
Earlier this month, B&D was also recognized by Zweig Group as one of the fastest-growing firms in the architecture, engineering, and construction industry, further underscoring the firm’s continued growth and expanding national presence.
