South Florida Business Journal: B&D Helps Florida Atlantic Univ. Secure Funding For New Student Housing Project

With the help of a feasibility study by B&D, Florida Atlantic University recently secured funding from the Florida Board of Governors for the construction of a 670-bed student housing project. Totaling 204,000 square feet, the project is expected to break ground in December 2024 and will open in time for the fall 2026 semester.

B&D’s study forecasted that FAU will see demand for an additional 1,066 student housing units in 2026. The project, which will offer students a single bedroom, and a shared bath and kitchenette, will help meet the projected demand.
