Following a long career in a range of higher education administration and student affairs roles, Laura Kane joined Brailsford & Dunlavey as an associate in 2022. She brings to the firm 15 years of experience in student engagement, student governance, and residential life.
Laura served as a dean of student affairs at Kenyon College. In this role, she provided direction, oversight, and operational management of residential life, student engagement, first-year experience, student conduct, and student government. She provided vision and leadership for key campus-wide projects including an overhaul of the campus governance model, policy and procedure development, and strategic facility management to align the institution with its mission and goals.
Laura earned both a doctorate and a master’s degree in higher education administration from Kent State University, and holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Baldwin Wallace University.
