Jen Frank is a senior associate, providing planning and strategic services to higher education institutions. With a background spanning work in housing operations, residential life, and software development and implementation, she brings a unique perspective to projects ranging from business system implementations to strategic and master planning efforts. Jen’s problem-solving skills and goal-oriented methodology are complemented by her focus on client outcomes and translating concepts between technical and non-technical stakeholders. Jen is passionate about optimizing resources to provide students and staff with the best possible experience.
Prior to joining B&D, Jen worked at both public and private institutions, reimagining housing assignment processes to meet institutional goals around retention and staff and student goals around building community and enhancing learning. She has participated in university governance as a Trustee at her undergraduate institution and understands both the immediate and long-term strategic planning efforts of colleges and universities.
Most recently, Jen was responsible for training and implementation efforts at a software company serving hundreds of clients in the higher education sector.
Originally from Massachusetts, Jen has a Bachelor of Science in Biology from M.I.T. and a Master of Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
