Mr. Cruz is an associate who provides planning and strategic services to colleges and universities. Mr. Cruz brings a diverse range of experiences from across the entire education sector, with expertise in business operations and information technology management. A strong collaborator and relationship developer, Mr. Cruz is driven toward identifying solutions that create a bridge between institutional knowledge, strategic partnership, and operational success.

Prior to joining B&D, Mr. Cruz worked in K-12, non-profit education, and higher education professional roles. Within higher education, David has held positions within the areas of residential life, housing operations, and information technology – a unique blend of experiences that informs his ability to interpret and influence big-picture thinking from a variety of perspectives. Most recently, he served as Director of Innovation, Strategy, and Systems at Temple University, providing dynamic leadership in leveraging technology solutions to enhance business intelligence capabilities and increase operational efficiency across the organization.

Originally from Philadelphia, PA, Mr. Cruz holds a Master of Business Administration degree from The College of New Jersey, as well as a Master of Education degree in Higher Education and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy, both from Temple University.
