Cheri Chastain brings over 17 years’ experience in sustainability and climate leadership to the B&D team.  Cheri has demonstrated leadership in the food & beverages industry, higher education, community development, and local government.  Focusing on carbon neutrality and climate resilience, Cheri has successfully implemented programs in renewable energy generation, water conservation, alternative transportation adoption, and zero waste while leading policy, governmental and industry-wide efforts.

Just prior to B&D, Ms. Chastain served in leadership roles in real estate development where she developed and implemented strategies and action plans to ensure climate-positive community development and represented the company in public facing affairs.  In addition, Ms. Chastain served as the Chair of the City of Chico Climate Action Commission, is a current board member for the non-profit bicycling advocacy organization Chico Velo, and was a founding board member of both TRUE Zero Waste and the Glass Recycling Foundation.
