The State of New Jersey’s University Hospital has released a request for information (RFI) on a clinical building public-private partnership.
Under the plans, a new 10-floor medical office building, including an ambulatory surgery center, will be developed as part of the hospital’s $1.8 billion development master plan.
The building will provide a state-of-the-art home for clinics and establishments affiliated with the hospital, as well as providing swing space for future phases of the master plan. The hospital serves as the main teaching hospital for Rutgers University’s medical and dental programs.
The project will be delivered as a design, build, finance, operate and maintain P3. A request for proposals will be released in early July, with a winner picked in September.
Brailsford & Dunlavey is advising on this project.
