David Prokopenko is a senior associate in B&D’s Southern California office, where he facilitates and develops analytical and strategic solutions for the firm’s higher education practice.

Prior to joining B&D, David built his experience in real estate advisory and consulting, providing highest-and-best use solutions and creating development strategies for the nation’s largest developers. He has worked on projects across the nation but has largely focused on the Los Angeles and Southern California region, where he was born and raised. Over the years he has advised on numerous product typologies, developing a broad understanding of how to create value and drive revenue through the optimal combination of products and phasing. David has also focused on driving business development and organizational strategy, opening and running a satellite office in his previous experience and building years of managerial skill. As a manager with a passion for cultivating and growing teams, David focuses on building strong relationships and supporting the team members around him. David received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California.
