Student Housing Master Plan

As part of its 2002 master plan, Arizona State University brought us in to help determine the demand for on-campus student housing. B&D was able to identify demand for an additional 7,400 on-campus beds and concluded that the university’s residential program could capture up to 27% of its entire student population—6% higher than at peer institutions. Our plan also outlined the most effective methods for phasing in the new housing. The result of this plan was the construction of a 1,928-bed living/learning facility in 2006 and an additional 1,721-bed living/learning complex in 2009.
