Student Housing Marketing Strategy

Butler and B&D had worked together on the planning of the new 500-bed Apartment Village on campus, and in 2005 we joined forces once again to help develop a marketing strategy to promote its grand opening. The messages and the media of the campaign were developed to generate a positive buzz and maximize applications. It was marketed on the university’s Web site with floor plans and an application form; tours were given in advance of its opening; direct mailers were sent to parents; the campus newspaper ran articles about it, and presentations were given to student groups.
