Landon School is an independent, non-sectarian boys’ day school in Bethesda, Maryland. It was started in 1929 with the purpose of teaching boys not only academic skills, but also values and standards for the future. In 2007 B&D was hired to oversee the implementation of the school’s Freeman Center for Athletic Achievement , which was developed as part of the school’s vision to redevelop and expand existing athletic facilities in the Barton Alumni Sports Center. It was also the realization of the efforts of many to honor the legacy of Mr. Freeman. The renovation and new construction of this two-floor building would integrate with the existing Barton Center and would include a new state-of-the-art strength and conditioning center and a wrestling room The Freeman Center was completed in 2008.
