Recreation Center Market Analysis

In June 2012, CENTERS, LLC engaged Br&D to conduct a market analysis to inform the University of Alabama at Birmingham’s Department of Campus Recreation business plan. The market analysis included focus groups and interviews with campus stakeholders, an analysis of the off-campus recreation market, and a comprehensive survey of UAB students, faculty, and staff. Findings were utilized to assess market demand, from which a market-responsive program and business plan were developed for implementation by the university.

Since its completion in 2003, the Campus Recreation Center has served as an important asset to the UAB campus community.
