Police Headquarters Renovation Program Management

The District of Columbia police station modernization project is one of over 120 such projects for which the District of Columbia’s Office of Public Education Facilities Modernization (OPEFM) retained Brailsford & Dunlavey to provide program management and project oversight services. The project consisted of converting the former 77,760 square foot Bowen Elementary School into the First District Headquarters for the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department. The $15.4 million renovation and construction project for the new 85,000 square foot police headquarters was completed in 2010.
