Justice Park Program Management

In 2009 the District of Columbia Department of Parks and Recreation, through the Office of Public Education Facilities Modernization, needed program management and project oversight services for the renovation of, and addition to, numerous community recreation centers, athletic fields, parks, and playgrounds. B&D was retained for these services, and the work was completed using the design-build delivery method. Our scope of work on the Justice Park project included the design and construction of a 10,000 SF community garden with planting beds, a storage shed, and a plaza with site amenities. This $750,000 project opened in 2011.
