Fort Greble Playground Program Management

In 2009 the District of Columbia Department of Parks and Recreation, through the Office of Public Education Facilities Modernization, needed program management and project oversight services for the renovation of, and addition to, numerous community recreation centers, athletic fields, parks, and playgrounds. B&D was retained for these services, and the work was completed using the design-build delivery method. With the existing outdated space having become a safety hazard, the Fort Greble Playground project includes the introduction of new play equipment, fencing, re-grading/drainage, landscaping, and concrete sidewalks. In addition, the asphalt basketball and play courts will be re-surfaced.
