Food Services Renovation Program Management

In the summer of 2009 Bowie State decided to enhance the quality of the dining experience for its growing on-campus residents and commuter populations by renovating the 300-seat dining hall, food court, and the grab-and-go market. B&D provided program management services for this renovation that included coordination and oversight of the communications with the university’s internal and external stakeholders, management of the design and construction, evaluation of budget and schedules, solicitation and selection of vendors, procurement of FF&E, compilation of project documentation, and performance of weekly quality control inspections. Under our management and leadership, all three venues were completed under budget and opened to the students for the fall 2009 semester.
