Cricket World Cup Bid Analysis And Preparation

The Government of Bermuda was interested in making a bid to host the 2007 Cricket World Cup. It hired B&D to provide comprehensive planning services in two phases: the first focused on the issuance of a letter of intent to the West Indies Cricket Board, and the second phase focused on the preparation of the bid itself. We completed a thorough economic impact analysis, technical specification requirements and detailed game requirements. In addition, we led the effort of drafting the bid document which highlighted Bermuda’s many qualifications for serving as hosts.
