Community Center Market Analysis

In 2000 B&D, in association with the architectural firm TMP Architects, was retained by the City of Marietta, Ohio to provide a detailed market and programmatic analysis review for a proposed community center. We interviewed a wide variety of potential partners for the project to determine the best possible design and program response for the proposed facility. We were also asked to work with Marietta to develop sophisticated financing alternatives to maximize capital available for the project. Our specific responsibilities were to conduct detailed financial analyses that would allow the city to make the best possible decisions for its residents. This included a detailed demographic analysis, a review of local health clubs, an evaluation of public financial support options, and developing a detailed financial model to project the building’s anticipated performance over a 30-year period.
