Carter G. Woodson Memorial Park Program Management

In 2009 the District of Columbia Department of Parks and Recreation, through the Office of Public Education Facilities Modernization, needed program management and project oversight services for the renovation of, and addition to, numerous community recreation centers, athletic fields, parks, and playgrounds. B&D was retained for these services, and the work was completed using the design-build delivery method. The Carter G. Woodson Memorial Park project includes installing new concrete sidewalks, pavers, and fencing on the 9,750 square foot site, as well as the foundations, stone base, and statue of Carter G. Woodson.
