Atlantic Cape Community College

Mays Landing,

Capital Formation Plan

The Mays Landing campus of Atlantic Cape Community College is comprised of 187 acres with great potential for development. As part of its campus master plan in 2007, the college asked B&D to examine this land and propose revenue generating concepts for its use. Interviews were held not only with key campus officials but also with local planning officers, and focus groups, interviews and a demographic analysis were done prior to our development of a preliminary demand model. Our efforts led to the identification of several avenues for revenue generation including retail, manufacturing, warehousing, and recreation, each of which the college is exploring in more detail.
