SHILPA KHATRI, LEED AP, PMP

Senior Project Manager

Ms. Khatri is a LEED-accredited, PMP-certified senior project manager in B&D’s Washington, DC, office. She leads the DC Charter Schools group, and has more than 12 years of experience in pre-construction, design, and construction management. She has established and managed varied programs and projects including charter schools, parks, recreation centers, and commercial buildings. Her core competencies include charter schools' planning, design, programming, implementation including construction management and closeout, owner representation, procurement & contract management, scheduling, budgeting, and grant & bond management. Prior to joining B&D, she worked for a sustainable buildings owner’s representative firm, successfully delivering several LEED projects. She also gained expertise in building cost estimating while working with general contractor Clark Construction. Ms. Khatri has a Master of Science in Project Management from George Washington University and received an excellence award for the program.
