Rebecca Geraghty AIA, NCARB

Vice President

As the leader of the firm’s Collegiate Implementation Group (CIG), Ms. Geraghty brings to B&D over two decades of experience as a licensed architect, construction manager, builder, business owner, and educator. She consistently applies her technical design and construction knowledge, coupled with project and risk management skills and an inherent understanding of educational priorities, to represent universities’ best interests over the lifespan of a project. Ms. Geraghty has managed over $3 billion dollars of design and construction activities across multiple building types throughout the United States.

Prior to her position with B&D, Ms. Geraghty grew her career through project management roles in light commercial, religious, academic, and industrial architecture. She also operated an independent architecture and interior design firm, served as an assistant professor of Interior Design at SUNY College at Buffalo, and was both the director of design and the general contractor qualifier and project executive for an architecture and construction management firm completing justice sector projects in the Southeast.  Beyond her role at B&D, Ms. Geraghty is occasionally called upon by the legal community to serve as an expert witness for design and construction claims throughout North and South Carolina.
