Project Manager

Mr. Smith is a project manager with B&D. He has amassed more than 10 years of experience leading and supporting construction activities for large multi-million dollar commercial, federal, and municipal projects, including the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) infrastructure and facility upgrades, PK-12 school renovations and new construction, office and data center construction, Critical Facility Support System improvement programs, government campus security projects, and sports stadium design-build improvement projects among others. He has supplemented his education in construction engineering and management with becoming a certified Project Management Professional and a LEED Accredited Professional. On his most recent program management assignment he was responsible for the management of $30 million worth of capital renewal and new construction projects.

Prior to joining B&D, Mr. Smith led multiple programs for the FAA to provide mission critical improvements and upgrades to air traffic control towers, air route traffic control centers, and airports across the continental United States, as well as led the construction for a High Intensity Lighting Approach System at Ronald Reagan National Airport outside of Washington, DC.
