Project Manager

Ms. Rae brings her experience in planning, programming, and designing 21st century public school facilities to Brailsford & Dunlavey’s Northern California office. Prior to joining the B&D team, Emily worked as an educational planner and designer for K-12 schools in Massachusetts. A graduate of the College of William & Mary, Emily found her passion helping school districts achieve their educational initiatives through the built environment. Ms. Rae is a firm believer that student-centered facilities can transform human behavior, encourage collaboration, celebrate creativity, and empower students to take ownership of their learning and education. She is an Accredited Learning Environments Planner with specific experience developing building programs and master plans that respond to the educational program, delivery methods, and desired learning outcomes. Emily embraces innovations in space as a way to advance learning and create a place for education to thrive.
