CHET ROACH

Executive Director - Management Advisory Services

Mr. Roach joined Brailsford & Dunlavey in 2007 and currently serves as Executive Director of the firm’s Management Advisory Services (MAS) practice.  In this capacity, he designs and employs uniquely tailored engagements that clearly establish an organization’s targeted new reality and then prioritize its physical and operational initiatives for implementation according to their potential impact.  The result is the alignment of investment and value—ensuring long-term institutional viability and sustainability.

Mr. Roach also provides his clients with a depth of experience planning and implementing capital and operating solutions including those requiring institutionally driven public-private partnerships (P3).  Specifically, he has served as the primary owner’s representative in managing the design and construction of more than one million square feet of quality-of-life facilities—student unions, campus dining, large event venues, campus recreation, intercollegiate athletics, student housing, performing arts venues, campus libraries, academic facilities, and other campus assets—all delivered on time and on budget. Additionally, he has provided strategic planning, financial and operating analysis, and project development services for organizations’ physical assets valued at more than $1 billion.

While Mr. Roach’s tenure with B&D started in the District of Columbia office, he has also helped to establish the Charlotte, North Carolina and Atlanta, Georgia regional offices, having previously served as director of the firm’s southeast operations.  He comes to B&D with a professional background in legal management, having collaborated in the administration of large-scale financial proceedings before the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission while with Latham & Watkins.
